Vacation 2001 Day: 14

Well it's the last day of week two. We left the campground and drove the 16 mile south rim road of Canyon De Chelly. After being in the canyon we thought seeing it from the top would be anticlimactic but the views were spectacular and just added to our trip in the canyon. After the rim tour we headed north on 191 to 160 and then east to Four Corners where we took pictures of each other in all four states (Arizona, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico).

From four Corners we headed back west on 160. Stopped for the night in Kayenta AZ. The only place we could find to stay the night was in the parking lot of the Coin Operated Laundry (But it has hook-ups). where we watched a never ending parade of Indians coming to do their laundry.
