Vacation 2002 Day: 24

Date: 05/27/2002

After eating Bacon and French Toast in the RV we continued east on I-80. Had the California Vegetable Police come in the RV at the California boarder and confiscate our cherries (The Mexican Federal Police searched the RV twice and they didn't take anything).

Stopped to take pictures of the snow on Donner Pass above Donner Lake near Truckee California.

Ended up at Jim's Father's house in Auburn CA. to spend the next few days.

Jim's father, Bob Nordberg, celebrated his 90th. birthday yesterday.

The picture of the deer was taken in the front yard.

I didn't say anything about the weather yesterday, we finally got some warm weather in Utah and Nevada (mid 70's). The temperature in Auburn was 75 when we arrived. The forecast for mid-week is mid to high 90's.
