Vacation 2002 Day: 9

Happy Mothers Day to all you Mothers.

We haven't said mush about the weather because it's been sunny and nice the whole trip. Well that changed yesterday afternoon, it clouded up and started to rain. After I made up the last e-mail we watched the 10:00PM news on TV and found out there was a tornado on I-70 about 35 miles west of Salina about the time we came through there.

Today we got up and got on Highway 81 north to York Nebraska then turned on I-80 east, continued on I-80 to Des Moines Iowa. Gassed up and ate dinner then got on I-35 north and stopped Story City IA near Ames.

Today's weather was cloudy all day (They have May Gray also) and cool.

No modem hookup here, so you will get this a day late.

Didn't take any pictures along the way so you get our campsite in Story City and Devin discovering the carpet.
