Day 15

Date: 05/31/2006

Kathy cooked breakfast, then it was time for chores. First we boxed up some stuff left over from a garage sale, then I drove a garden tractor with a wagon attached and we loaded some branches, took them over next to the silo and burned them. Next we did did some organization in one of the storage buildings hanging garden tools up on pegboard. Then we took an electric pump and hooked it up to an old well to water the garden. Of course as soon as we got the water going on the garden it started to rain, but it didn't last long so it's a good thing we got the pump going. Kathy cooked a roast for dinner with all the trimmings including fresh picked asparagus. After dinner we played shanghai until bedtime.
