Day 16

Date: 06/01/2006

Kathy fixed ham and egg omelets and French toast for breakfast. After breakfast we said goodbye and headed from Wadena to Miltona to visit Susie Lusty, one of Marilyn's cousins. After a nice visit with Susie we went to Alexandria where Marilyn grew up. In Alex we visited with Marilyn's Aunt Mary and Uncle Harry (Uncle Harry is 97) we talked for awhile then Harry drove us around town to show Marilyn some of the changes. After the tour Harry drove us to The Depot (the old train depot converted to a restaurant). Mary treated us to dinner.. After dinner we said goodbye to Mary and Harry and went over to Lil Scott's house. (Marilyn and Lil worked together at the drugstore). Arlene Linder (one of Marilyn's friends came over and Lil served coffee and cake. After our visit with Lil and Arlene it was to late to find a campground so we found the Wal-Mart and camped in the parking lot along with three other RVs. After the guy with the leaf blower and the street sweeper finished cleaning the parking lot it wasn't too noisy but they never turn off those big Lights!
