Vacation 2007, Day 01

We are on the road again! This year we are heading back to Minnesota to attend Marilyn's 45th High School reunion.

We left San Diego this morning about 6:00AM on I15 north. Stopped for breakfast in Temecula, then continued north on I15 passing through Nevada, Arizona and into Utah. Stopped for fuel in St. George UT then Stopped to spent the night in Beaver UT at the KOA.

Went to dinner at Bill's Steak House. It was quite the Place, it looked like it would seat 20 to 30 but we were the first ones there for dinner. It was full of Animal trophies and John Wayne pictures hanging on the walls. Bill met us at the door, seated us, brought us complementary shrimp cocktail (the shrimp were huge), took our orders, brought our drinks and salads then disappeared into the back to cook our meals. After he brought the main courses (prime rib, deep fried baked potatoes and scones) he sat down at the next table and chatted with us while we ate. The whole time we were in restaurant Bill was the only employee we saw. The food was good and there was plenty of it.

After Bill's we went back to the campground and played some Dominos.
