Vacation 2007, Day 16

Had breakfast at the Cowboy Cafe in Medora ND. After breakfast we went to see the Theodore Roosevelt National Park (south). Drove a 36 mile loop through the park, saw two buffalo, two deer and a lot of prairie dogs. After completing the loop we got back on I94 east to visit Painted Canyon National Park. As we drove in we were greeted by a whole heard of buffalo in the parking lot. We took pictures of the buffalo and the Painted Canyon (part of the North Dakota badlands). Then it was back on I94 west into Montana. Just before we got to Billings MT I94 ended and we got on I90 west. Stopped at the Cookery in Billings for supper. Back on I90 west to Big Timber MT were we are staying the night at Spring Creek Campground and Trout Farm.
