Vacation 2012, Day 45 July 30

1. Worlds Largest Pistachio.

2. White Sands National Monument.

Ate breakfast in the RV. Packed up and left Ruidoso on US 70 west. Stopped at McGinn's Pistachio Tree Ranch & Country Store in Alamogordo NM to see the WORLDS LARGEST pistachio. Then it was back on I 70 to Las Cruses NM were we turned on I 10 west. We came to a sign for White Sands National Monument. We checked out the visitor center, watched a movie about the sand dunes (the WORLDS LARGEST gypsum sand dunes) and drove the RV out onto the dunes. Back on I 10 west to Lordsburg NM where we got a campsite at the KOA Kampground. Ate supper at Kranberry's Restaurant.
