Vacation 2013, Day 47 July 24 Up and down the river from a lookout on US-60 Click pictures to enlarge Breakfast in the RV. Left the campground on Hwy-63 to Hwy-219 to I-64 West to US-60 West (The Midland Trail) that took us through the mountains, through a lot of small towns and past some coal mines lumber operations (and bypassed the toll road). Hooked back up with I-64 west and drove into Kentucky. We were going to drive to Lexington before stopping but we saw a KOA in Argillite KY so we stopped early at the Ashland/Huntington W. KOA. We drove through some rain on US-60 but by the time we got to Argillite it was just scattered clouds. The high was only about 80 and the humidity has gone down. We turned off the air conditioning and opened up the RV for the first time on the trip. Grilled Italian Sausages for supper. Domino Scores Jim: 91 Marilyn: 97 Weather: High of 80, not as humid. Lowest Gas Price: $3.469 Mileage Today: 190 Mileage For Trip: 6653 Copyright 2013
