Breakfast in the RV. Decided to leave the RV at the campground and use taxis today because one of our stops is in downtown Louisville and parking the RV could be a problem. First stop was Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby. We went through the Kentucky Derby Museum, went on a walking tour of the grandstands with our guide John, then we went on bus tour of the backstretch and barns with guide Angie. Next we took a cab to downtown Louisville and saw the Louisville Slugger Museum and factory. After touring the factory we walked over to "Fourth Street Live" a section of Fourth Street that is lined with restaurants and bars and is closed to traffic for concerts and entertainment. Ate supper at Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant. The nights entertainment was starting but we decided to get a cab and go back to the campground.
