Vacation 2007, Day 02

Date: 09/06/2007

Ate breakfast at a small cafe in Beaver and then got back on I15 north to I70 east. Drove east on I70. Stopped at Spotted Wolf View Point and took the above picture of the highway going down through Spotted Wolf canyon. Continued east on I70 to Rifle CO where we filled with gas ($3.19) and turned onto Hwy13 north, followed Hwy13 to Craig Co where we ate dinner at The Village Inn. Back on Hwy13 until we hit Wyoming where it turned into Hwy789. Stayed on Hwy789 until we got to I80 and turned east on I80 to Rawlins WY where we visit Maxine Ballard (My Mother-in-law). We got the only available campsite at the Western Hills campground (only because someone checked out a day early while I was waiting in the office).
