Vacation 2008

Day 20, May 27

Took dad to drop off one of his hearing aids for repair. Then we went over to animal shelter to look for a new companion for dad. He had a cat named Misty for the last 14 years, but Misty had to be put to sleep recently. We found a grey female about three years old. She came right to the front of her cage and wanted to make friends. It took about 30 seconds for dad to say that's the one. We brought her home and she is now "Misty II". Marilyn cooked spaghetti for supper, then we played Yahtzee (Jim 1, Marilyn 1).
