Vacation 2012, Day 01 June 16

It's Vacation time again and you are invited to follow along on our trip. If you would rather not receive these e-mails just reply and let me know so I can take you off the list.

As you will see in the pictures we have a new ride this year, a 2011 Open Road 30GA.

Marilyn and I left on vacation today at 6:30am. We got on Hwy 125 north to Hwy 52 west, then Hwy 805 to I 5 to Los Angeles. In LA we turned onto I 10 west to Santa Monica where we turned onto Hwy 1 north. We kept going north alternating between Hwy 1 and 101. Hwy 1 is The Pacific Coast Highway that runs the length of California, most of it right along the ocean. After we reached Monterey we found a place to stay at Betabel RV Park in San Juan Bautista. (Betable is Spanish for sugar beet)
