Vacation 2009, Day 19, June 29

The day started with breakfast in the RV. It was back on I-80 west all the way to Rawlins WY. We are here to visit my mother-in-law, Maxine Ballard and her friend Barbara Larson. The pictures were taken at The Lincoln Monument between Cheyenne and Laramie where I-80 reaches it's highest point, 8640 feet. The monument commemorates the highest point of the Lincoln Highway, the first transcontinental highway.
